The University of Michigan will host the Importation of Biological Materials Workshop on November 30, 2016. The workshop will include representatives from several federal government agencies including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) , U. S Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S Fish and Wild Life Service who will share their responsibilities, discuss how to prepare materials for proper transport , and how to apply for the necessary permits. We would like to invite members of the EHS community to join us for this unique opportunity for outreach and education. We would also welcome you to invite other colleagues or researchers who you think may benefit from this training.
