This position is detail oriented and regulatory based. This individual will serve as a contact point for the research community for questions or concerns with research involving Biohazardous agents, microorganisms containing recombinant DNA, and Select Agents. The IBC Administrator I will coordinate IBC meetings, perform pre-reviews and write review letters. Will maintain the IBC database and assist investigators with the RSS submission system. This individual will assist the Chair, Biosafety Officers, and the Institutional Official in developing IBC policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or other scientific related field. (Additional related undergraduate or graduate education may be considered in lieu of required experience).
- Two years related experience associated with the conduct of laboratory or translational research. (Additional related undergraduate or graduate education may be considered in lieu of required experience).
- Master’s degree in Biology or other scientific related field.
- 3 years experience associated with the conduct of laboratory research.
$45,300 – $68,000/annual
