Safety programs exist in many different incarnations at academic institutions.  Many times the areas of safety focus such as Radioactive Materials, Hazardous Waste, Occupational Safety, Chemical Safety and Biosafety do not talk to each other, sometimes the groups are housed in separate buildings or even have different reporting structures.  What works best at one institution may not work at another, but the focus should always be on customer service and serving your institution’s safety needs.

This webinar will discuss how Environmental Health and Safety is set up at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and how our team-based approach and cross-training help us provide better service to the university.
